Inspired by our love for visual arts and our drive to create things, MTLA Studio was founded in 2020 by us two creatives, Patricia Chiniara and Joelle Said.

MTLA is an online design studio based in Montreal (& in-person pop-up sales) with a mission to spread creativity and bring an aesthetic visual identity to people’s homes and businesses.

We make all the art ourselves, with love. Check out our Art Prints, Paintings, Totes, as well as our custom art services such as branding, murals, and more.

Meet the Team

  • Joelle Said

    CO-FOUNDER | ANIMATOR x ILLUSTRATOR

    It all started with Patricia and I creating art together in 2020 during quarantine. We loved creating custom art for people in our close network, and the next thing we knew, we were starting our first business together.

    My background is in Animation, and my obsession is with everything visual arts. You can find me sketching at a café in my free time.

    CO-FOUNDER | ARTIST x ARCHITECT

    My love for art started young, as doodles that turned into drawing, painting and digital art.

    After graduating high school with Joelle, we both really put in the effort to improve as artists, and we constantly pushed ourselves to be better in our work. Today, we are partners in this business hoping to create art and spread creativity through our whole city and beyond.
